For when you did awesome things that we did not expect,
you came down, and the mountains trembled before you.
Since ancient times no one has heard,
no ear has perceived,
no eye has seen any God besides you,
who acts on behalf of those who wait for him.
~ Isaiah 64:3,4 NIV
Lord, I wait with heart abandoned…
His Sunday whisper to me… and maybe to you…
There is nothing you can do to lose what I open up to you.
Do not be afraid. Wear the banner of My love.
Go forth in confidence in Me. You will not be defeated.
I AM your shield…strength…hope.
My goodness and mercy you will know intimately.
Now is the time
for fruitfulness…for harvest…for joy in the bringing in.

Gorgeous… both the lovely pictures and His Word and your words. Thank you.
Yes… I don’t have my own photos for these, but I thought these were pretty majestic. This verse leaped off the page to me… Thanks Joanne!
I am truly blessed by this {{thank you}}!
I’m so glad, Heather!! Thanks for telling me… 🙂
The pictures are beautiful. And the thoughts with the scripture sweetly divine. Thank you!
Thanks, Dawn… I’m glad it is resonating! 🙂
Lovely, lovely photos!
Thanks… though I don’t claim them as my own, I do spend time looking for the “right” ones. I’m glad they touched you too! 🙂
What beautiful photos. What stands out to me the most is “wearing the banner of His love.” The same way He has covered me with His love, I want to show that love to others. Happy Sunday!
Yes… me too. 🙂 Thanks, Barbie!
Pam – the photos are lovely (I love mountains!) But even more beautiful are your words. So uplifting and encouraging.
Blessings,
Joan
Thank you, Joan! I’m happy they lifted you up as they did me! 🙂 These come out of my prayer times, so maybe they have His touch on them…
Love this!
Thanks, Ruthie!
What beautiful photos and words Pam. God is so good to us and gives us such beauty to enjoy!
Bless you!
Beth
Thanks, Beth… yes, He is! 🙂
(Visiting from The Sunday Community)
Love this and it’s well timed for me.
Thank you for sharing…
I’m so glad, Stefanie. Love when God does that. Thanks for letting me know! 🙂
I tried to leave you this message on your blog, but I can’t seem to sign in… I love your paintbrush photo and the “finish sentence” prompt… 🙂 The photo reminds me that God called me to artistry that used to be more with paints and pen and ink, and now is more with words. I know He has also called me since childhood to be an encourager, a strong prayer-intercessor, comforter and sharer of His heart. Beautiful idea, thanks for sharing it!
Love the photos and scriptures to match. Purple mountains indeed. Visiting from scripture and a snapshot.
Blessings,
Judy
Thanks for stopping in, Judy! Blessings on your week!
Beautiful words … thank you.
Thanks, Sharon…
These words, “There is nothing you can do to lose what I open up to you . . . I am your hope.” These words speak deep to me today. As well as your words to Shelly @ Redemptions Beauty as she grieves the loss of her brother. Holding all of these close. Thank you.
Thank you for telling me that, Sandra. It moves me to see how God uses us to touch each other. The words from this post come from my prayer times, so I believe that is His Spirit more than just my own words…
Oh, I receive this Sunday Whisper…
Me too — for you, and for me!
so so beautiful! Did you take this?

Isn’t it gorgeous? No, I didn’t… I listed the photo source at the bottom of the post. It was a free wallpaper photo… thanks for stopping by!
Hi there, Pam.
I missed my readings. We had a very long weekend. And this morning when we came into the office, our connection is crawling. I bet it also had a great rest and is having a long time recovering.
Anyway, I do love the Sunday whispers and I am claiming it for both of us. Thank you, Pam. “I am wearing the banner of His love.” And what He has prepared for me I shall have in His time.
Hope you had some rest over the long weekend… I pray it for us both too. Yes! Wearing His banner of love…” I’m glad you are enjoying these whispers! 🙂 Have a good week!
Your photos are lovely and His Word is encouraging!
I’m glad I found this meme 🙂
Anne, I’m glad they touched you! The photos aren’t mine (see the bottom of the post) but I did search to find such beauties to fit the words. 🙂 Come again!
