Home Country

Trekking that 40-year desert trail lately?

Here’s a whisper I’m hearing today from the Father…

for me, and perhaps for you…

He has us covered in newly-budding promise…

Home at Last:

“You are no longer wandering exiles…

This kingdom of faith is now your home country.

You’re no longer strangers or outsiders. You belong here…

God is building a home.

He’s using us all—irrespective of how we got here—in what he is building.

He used the apostles and prophets for the foundation.

Now he’s using you, fitting you in brick by brick, stone by stone, with Christ Jesus as the cornerstone that holds all the parts together. We see it taking shape day after day—a holy temple built by God, all of us built into it, a temple in which God is quite at home.”

~Ephesians 2:19 (The Message)

  1. Beautiful! I want to always feel I’m home – with him!

    • The truth of Him making His home in us – that we are so valuable to Him – is so much more than we can imagine, isn’t it? Coming across this version of this verse today really spoke to me too! There is no place like home… in Him…mmm.

      Thanks!

  2. Barbie says:

AMEN! So thankful He makes His home in me, and I am at home in Him.
