When words hold LIFE…

“From the fruit of my lips I am filled

as surely as the work of my hands rewards me.”

~ Proverbs 12:14

Thank you Father, for the fruit you are bringing forth.

Apples of Gold…in our hearts, on our lips, through our hands…

His Sunday whisper to me… and maybe to you…

In every word of Mine you lift to Me as prayer… I am there!

Do not listen to fears.  They are lies.  Do not pronounce them.

Instead, meditate on and give thanks for the promises in My Word.

Healing, My Healing, I speak over you.

Blessing, My Blessing, I declare over you.

Before you see it, believe.

Trust My Heart and Truth

above what seems right or logical or inevitable to the eye.

As you speak My Truths out with Me, I set them in motion.

Breathe My life abundant in, for I set My Word upon your lips for life.

Declare My Words  out and blessings flow.

Words do hold life,, we never know how positive a word of affirmation is until we give it away and see the beauty that comes from encouraging one another.

    • So true! Thanks Sharon. And I am finding too how powerful God’s word is to “pray out” instead of saying the negatives that may seem to be true (i.e. like replacing “I feel sick” with “Lord, your word brings healing to my bones…” or “This situation is impossible and can’t be overcome” with “Nothing is impossible with God!” 🙂 )

  2. Pam-
WORDS-oh the magic they hold, speaking words of love to another~~watching the Glow of another hearing how much they are cared for. Beautiful post Pam. One that was especially needed for me on this day. God bless you. martha

Thank you for these uplifting words and beautiful photos. How often do I speak fear? I need to remember that my words should be fruitful–apples of gold in settings of silver–sweet to the taste and the heart. Bless you Pam for always reminding us.\
    Love

    • Yes. I think God’s been showing me that when we speak out negatives, those words put negatives into motion just like speaking His promises brings life. Worse, that they can negate what we are praying for… Power in our words that we don’t even imagine,. It isn’t always easy to talk about what is happening in life without saying those negatives, but I want to try to replace them with words of what I am actually praying for. Thanking Him before I see it, as if I already do see it. Does that make sense? Hard to explain it in words here…

I LOVE these photos… the extraordinary light in them. I found the top one a few weeks ago and was holding it for the right post.

Yes, Pam. And thank you so much. I, myself, has lot of fears lately….. I dare declare the good things that the Lord loves to shower upon us, rather than dwell on the bad thoughts, which really are lies whispered by the deceiver.

    Blessings to you, dear!

    • I know what you mean, Lolita. Fear sweeps over me sometimes… like a wave I have to hold up my prayers to. All those thoughts of what am I going to do’s… and I have to stop and pray the truth over it all… You are right. The fears etc are coming from the deceiver.

  5. lolita says:

And thanks be to God, for the apples of gold….. for the seashells I pick up here and there, which makes my pockets full of His abounding mercies and love and joy.

  6. MaryLou says:

Our Daily Bread Devotional for today spoke about fear… “When Fear Creeps In”. I would like to share a bit of it… “Into His hands I lay the fears that haunt me, The dread of future ills that may befall; Into His hands I lay the doubts that taunt me, And rest securely, trusting Him for all.” – Christiansen “Trusting God’s faithfulness dispels our fearfulness.” This Scripture was also included 1 John 4:18. Thank you for what you did share it is so easy to let fear creep in. Also the Scripture to read along with the devotional was Psalm 56. 🙂

    Yes, words are powerful!

  8. Hi Pam, just thinking about you this morning and praying for you. Hope all is well, miss connecting with you lately.

    • Thank you, Shelly. So grateful for your prayers, especially with all that’s been happening in your life. I sent you an email a week or so ago about something in writing I thought might interest you… not sure if you are getting those. I may try again… 🙂
